There is nothing between us, not even our skin-a love poem

There is nothing between us, not even our skin

Little deaths
Hidden in alpine flowers.

Rare orchids
in dark damp bathrooms.

Fingers dipping into flesh
Like sugar and bowls of honey.

We want more
Not afraid to eat
pythons safe in
Each other’s bellies.

Warm safe, and whole
yin and yang
Eating the serpent's tail.

There is nothing to fear
In love, when losing
Yourself is bliss.

Rare and bold
Delicate and fragile
Like the flowers.

White orchids with a violet blue background.

About This Poem (Only read if you want a description of what I was trying to convey. However, the reader can find their own meanings, and I honor that.

There isn’t a lot I want or have to say about this poem other than it’s a love poem.
